Quick Start

Welcome to HireMinds. A new user should understand HireMinds in just a few minutes.

First-Time Setup

  1. Create an Account: Visit the HireMinds portal and sign up.
  2. Role Assignment: By default, you may be a Candidate. Contact an Admin to be promoted to a Recruiter.
  3. Dashboard Access: Once promoted, navigate to /dashboard to view your KPI cards, upcoming interviews, and recent activity.

Create Your First Job

  1. Go to Jobs > Create Job.
  2. Complete the multi-step wizard:
    • Provide basic info (Title, Location, Type).
    • Enter Job Requirements.
  3. Save and create the job.
  4. From the Job section, click on the Design Studio option to configure the AI Interview persona and structure.
  5. In the left navigation pane, go to the Question Bank section to build or generate the questions for the interview.
  6. You can copy the link from the Jobs and you will receive a public application link (e.g., /jobs/apply/your-job-slug).

Add Your First Candidate

Candidates can apply themselves using the public link. When a resume is uploaded, it is asynchronously parsed, ATS scored, and an AI Summary is generated.

Schedule and Run AI Interviews

  1. From the candidate's profile, change their status to interview.
  2. Generate an Interview Session.
  3. The candidate receives a unique room link to join the WebRTC-based AI Interview.
  4. During the interview, HireMinds monitors behavior (Proctoring) and runs through behavioral and technical stages.

Review AI Results

After the session concludes:

  1. Navigate to the Interviews tab.
  2. Review the session details: transcript, ATS score + AI Evaluation score, and proctoring summary (trust score).
  3. Decide to offer, hire, or reject the candidate.
